Exploring (Coed ages 14 – 18)
Exploring is a unique career exploration program that provides students with an opportunity to learn about a career and network with professionals working in that field. Young men and women gain hands-on experience to determine whether or not a particular career field is right for them, and meet other youth that share their same interests.

Police Explorers Post 911
Young men and women, ages 14 – 20 years, are invited to join Post 911. Sponsored by the Piedmont Police, Post 911 assists with traffic control, patrol car ride-along observation, radio operation, and special events.
Explorers receive monthly training in the criminal justice system, law enforcement, community policing, investigations, firearm safety, and self-defense. Under the guidance of advisors, members develop confidence, discipline, leadership and teamwork skills and compete in regional skill competitions.

Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers underpin the success of each program.
