Wood Badge Training Course
September 10, 2021 - September 26, 2021
WOOD BADGE is the ultimate leadership training program for volunteers involved in all levels of Scouting (Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Exploring). The first Wood Badge training was organized by Francis “Skipper” Gidney and lectured by Robert Baden-Powell and others at Gilwell Park (United Kingdom) in September 1919. Wood Badge training has since spread across the world with international variations. Upon completion of this training, you will join thousands of other leaders around the world, who are dedicating themselves to passing on the ideals of scouting.
The 2021 Wood Badge Course will be held at Camp Tamarancho in Marin County over the course of five days, 9/10 – 12, and 9/25 – 26.
Cost: $295. Course fees cover training materials, food, and equipment for the entire course as well as a course shirt and hat.
For more information on the course, see the Wood Badge 2021 Brochure.
