Highlander Hike – Alameda Point Shoreline

Join us for the May Highlander Hike! Complete this hike as a Den or family at your convenience. Complete four Highlander Hikes throughout the year to get the patch! The May hike is an easy 1.2-mile out-and-back along the Alameda Point Shoreline. Begin the hike at Encinal Beach and walk to the USS Hornet! You can extend or cut this hike short as needed. You may be able to park at the Encinal Boat Ramp. Find the access road off of Central Ave. near Lincoln Ave. Fees may be required. If the parking lot is full or not permitted, you can park on Central Ave. and walk down. Find park rules at Encinal Boat Ramp. Make sure to follow safety guidelines outlined by the County and State.
