Scout Recruiting Family Picnic for Boys and Girls Entering K-5th Grades

Cub Palooza!

Come discover the fun and adventure Cub Scouting offers all boys and girls in grades K-5! While you learn about our engaging, values-based program, your child can participate in Boy Scout-led activities. Any one, including those outside Piedmont, is welcome to join.

Families carve out time for Cub Scouting because it uniquely provides opportunities to explore the outdoors and engage in the community while developing life skills and interests, all while having FUN! Cub Scouts and their families explore Bay Area trails, discover local attractions, pitch tents and cook over an open fire. The Scouting program helps youth grow in positive ways by nurturing the “5 C’s”: character, caring, connection to community, competence, and confidence.

Piedmont has four Cub Scout Packs, each consisting of several dens for boys and separate dens for girls (based on leadership availability and interest). Cub Scouts generally meet several times a month; games, learning-based activities, outdoor adventures and field trips make these meetings a favorite activity.
