Virtual Day Camp – Down on the Farm

Join us for the Annual Cub Scout Day Camp! This year the theme is Down on the Farm and we’ll be holding the camp virtually! Learn about gardening, animals, and Scout skills via Zoom!

Cost is $65. Attendees get their own t-shirt, activity supplies for the week, and one snack each day. T-shirt availability is limited. You may receive a size different from the size you request.

Theme: Down on the Farm. Youth will learn about animals, will plant seeds and watch them grow into seedlings, and will learn other Scout skills and crafts

Schedule: June 1 – 5, 1:00 – 2:30 PM each day, followed by an optional meeting on Monday, June 8th at 1:00 PM to check on our seedlings. A 15 minute snack break will be taken at 1:45 PM, followed by the small group activity session from 2:00 – 2:30.

Event Summary: 
On Sunday, May 31st, participants will be provided with supplies that will be used during the week. All activities will be held via Zoom, with a group call at 1 PM, followed by breakout rooms of smaller groups of 6 – 8 youth. Youth will learn simple skills via Zoom and follow along with the supplies provided.
Parent Involvement and Supplies: Activities have been selected that do not require adult supervision. Parent or older sibling support will be needed during the week to help sign in to Zoom each day and support with internet issues as they arise. All supplies will be provided (paper, markers, etc.), with the exception of rudimentary office supplies (stapler, scissors, etc.). A list of supplies needed for the week will be provided beforehand and broken down each day.
