Unfortunately, due to Alameda County Public Health Department recommendations surrounding COVID-19, we will be postponing this event. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of all our volunteers and are disappointed that we must postpone our recognition of the exceptional leaders who make Piedmont Scouting possible. We hope to be able to reschedule the dinner later in the Spring. More information on that will be forthcoming.

Each year, the Council recognizes volunteers who have performed outstanding service to Scouting and the youth in our community at the Annual Recognition Dinner. All community members are invited to attend. The Piedmont Council, BSA is fortunate to have over 150 trained volunteers responsive to the needs of more than 1000 youth participating in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, coed Venturing, Sea Scouts, Exploring and Learning for Life.

Adult participation is a key component of why Scouting works; in addition to facilitating the execution of programs, caring relationships with adult mentors underpin positive youth development.
