We are hosting an easy beginner backpacking trip on Mar 27 & 28, conveniently in the Oakland hills.  After school on Friday, we’ll head out and carry our supplies into the evening, arriving at our campsite after dark.  We’ll have a great dinner by camp stove, and maybe go exploring by flashlight.  On Saturday, we’ll hike back out as the morning sun warms us.  We expect to be done by early afternoon, so you will have plenty of time to do that homework!  HAC has equipment to lend to members.
