Electronics Merit Badge (Spring 2024)

Want to learn about all the electronic products that make our life easier and more entertaining? Want to understand what is in all those products that are scattered around our homes? Want to learn and build an electronic project? To learn to solder and read a schematic? To learn about Arduino products and rudimentary coding?

Join us and “learn and earn” the Electronics Merit Badge!

The class runs on three Thursday nights: March 7th, March 21st, and April 4th, at 7:30pm in the Scout Basement of the Piedmont Community Church.

Cost is $10 – this includes the Electronics Merit Badge booklet, and some of the supplies needed for the class.

**Class is limited to 8 Scouts**

Prerequisites:

1) You need your own digital multimeter (from the Electricity Merit Badge Class) and other supplies to build a project of your choosing.

2) You need to have earned Electricity Merit Badge, or be able to demonstrate a mastery of the subjects taught in that Merit Badge.

3) Be prepared to learn about Electronics and use that knowledge to build a project.

4) Must have read the Electronics Merit Badge requirements and be willing to complete the workbook.
