Eagle Scout Mollie King

The Council is beyond ecstatic to announce that Piedmont now has its first female Eagle Scout, Mollie King of Troop 4!

For her project, Mollie constructed a 4’x10’ shaded redwood structure to give visitors to Moore Creek Park in Napa a comfortable place to plan their hike, or rest after they’ve returned. During her time as a Scout, Mollie served as the SPL for Troop 4, worked as camp staff at day camp and resident camp, and sat on the Council’s Executive Board.

Additionally, last Thursday at this year’s Annual Recognition Dinner, Mollie was recognized with the William R. Peterson award for youth leadership. So, for both her Eagle and the award, please join us in extending a huge congratulations to Mollie King!
