Medical Supplies Needed

As the health crisis continues to develop, we suspect an ongoing need for medical supplies at local hospitals and non-profit providers. The Piedmont Scouts are collaborating with community leaders to help in this endeavor. Multiple groups, including Self Help for the Elderly in SF and Asian Health Services in Oakland, have reached out with needed supplies.

There is an ongoing need for:

• N-95 and DIY Face Masks – If you have professionally-made N-95 masks, please drop-off at UCSF Benioff Hospital
• Food Bank Donations and Volunteers: Go to the Alameda County Community Food Bank and the Berkeley Food Network for volunteer opportunities or to make a monetary donation. Community need for emergency food is up by more than 40% at this time, and with the rise in food costs, donations are needed now more than ever.
