Training

Sure, the Boy Scout motto is “Be Prepared.” But Piedmont adults and youth train so they can develop and then be confident in using their skills when and where they need them.

For youth, that might mean leading a team in the biology lab, or provisioning a family camping trip, organizing the rigging of Ship 16’s 60-foot sailboat, constructing a flowchart for an Eagle service project, managing youth input to the Piedmont Post’s weekly content or motivating a young Venturer on a tough trail in the Sierra.

For adults, training offers ideas on how to be safe and guide youth, while having fun and minimizing wheel reinvention.
