Training

Piedmont Scouting, in conjunction with National BSA, offers an array of training resources to support our adult volunteers and youth and set them up for success. Training opportunities provide tips, tools and a roadmap to make Scouting more fun, more effective, and more rewarding for youth, adults, and for YOU!

Training Programs

Our training programs are offered through a variety of formats,
including online modules, onsite events and meetings, and special training workshops.
Check out the following Adult and Youth Training program offerings.

Adult Training

Leadership training is one of the attributes that sets Scouting apart from the myriad of other youth activities. Trained leaders impact the quality of programs, leader tenure, youth membership retention, safety, and a whole lot more. All adult volunteers are required to complete Youth Protection Training & California Requirements.

Youth Training

Developing leaders is a critical component of the Scouting program. Scouting provides a wealth of opportunities and training programs to help youth improve their leadership skills and deliver a quality youth-led program.
