Scouting for Food - Boy Scouts - Pick Up & Virtual Drive!Council Event

The Boy Scouts will collect your food donations for the Alameda County Food Bank. Please leave your donations outside and clearly visible from the street by 9:00 AM. Acceptable donations include boxed and bagged non-perishable items. Donations can include canned meat and fish, canned fruit and vegetables, nutritional beverages, powdered milk, peanut butter, rice, cereal, canned beans, and soup. No frozen food or glass containers, please!

If you prefer to make an online contribution your can participate in the Virtual Food Drive and turn a $1 contribution to $4!

If you visit the Food Bank website go to the Virtual Food Drive page and click on <Select your Group. Scroll down to find 'Piedmont BSA' and make your donation.

The online Alameda County Food Bank food store will show you what you can buy. For example, your $30 donation will buy fresh produce worth $457.06!

Additional Information

If you miss our pick up day, please leave your food in barrels located at the Boy Scout Office,10 Highland Way in Piedmont, during the month of November, or at the corner of Highland Way and Oakland over the weekend of November 15-16.
