About our Boy Scout Program

Piedmont’s Boy Scouts have traveled the world in search of opportunities to learn, to lead and to experience the outdoors. Each of the Council’s five troops has its own personality, its own traditions. Each is boy-led, with adult support and backup.

Whether boys are working toward their Eagle rank, hiking 50 miles in the Sierra, experiencing the weekend-long intensive leadership training known as Brownsea, or leading a team of 40 Scouts who, in turn, are leading bands of Cub Scouts at summer day camp, they build and reinforce skills, confidence and values.
